Brett Hilbert

"Hi friends! My name is Brett Hilbert. I have been playing piano since I was six years old. I started out with classical piano, began singing in choir at fifteen, and then over the years learned to play the popular songs that we all love to hear! At sixteen, I started preforming at local bars and continued playing professionally for a few years until I started dueling piano. I fell in love with it and have been at it for seven years now! I have been with Rum Runners in Sandestin for three years now and have not looked back! I love creating special moments with audience members and making sure everyone has a great time! "

Dew Pendleton

Born in Alabama and raised on the family farm, you might expect to find him as country as that all sounds, but it is only a small part of the puzzle that creates Dew’s unique sound. When he’s not dueling at Rum Runner’s, the singer-songwriter is busy recording songs that showcase a range of stories from his life, and performing with his band, Dew & UR Friends.

Jerod Brocklehurst

I grew up in Lansing, Michigan. My foundation and beginnings in the dueling pianos concept came from none other than Rum Runners in 2012. Since then, I have not only played for Rum Runners, but many different dueling pianos establishments, as well as private engagements, across the United States. In addition, I have performed extensively on cruise ships with dueling pianos, reaching over 25 different countries. My musical foundation comes from my early years in church and grade school, and my mother putting me in piano lessons at the age of 8. I am grateful to do what I love for a living. My passion is playing the drums, and I have a wide variety of hobbies and interests. Come experience Rum Runners sometime — we are always having a fun time there!

Michael Bell

Michael has been playing piano since ten years old. He was the winner of three classical piano state championships while also studying jazz in high school and college. After college, he played in original rock bands opening for acts like Kansas and 38 Special. Around this same time released his first album with the band Agents of Change. A few years later, he moved to Nashville and joined a touring original country band opening for everyone from Lori Morgan to George Strait. Upon leaving Nashville, Michael moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan and started playing original music in the college scene there. It was in Kalamazoo that he walked into his first Rum Runners, and has been working for the company for almost two decades ever since.

Nate Fife

Born and raised in Destin, Florida, Nathan Fife has played piano and sang since 3 years old. He started listening to the music his parents loved, and at a young age, discovered that he could play songs by ear. While acting as the student director and accompanist of his high school choir, Nathan acquired the necessary musical knowledge and skills to progress to the college level. As a junior in high school, he was awarded a full scholarship for piano & vocal performance at Northwest Florida State College. He then toured throughout Europe, performing his live shows before discovering dueling pianos back in the states on his 21st birthday. After traveling the country for 2 years as a dueling pianist, he became a resident player on Bourbon St. in New Orleans. In 2021, Nathan returned home to Sandestin, joining Rumrunners, where he performs regularly and pursues one of his greatest passions in life as an entertainer and master musician. He’s actively writing his first album, aspiring to become a well-known independent artist, singer-songwriter & performer.

Wayne Deaton

I fall in love with music everyday and always look for chances to bless others with my music and be blessed with others music as well. I am multi-instrumental. I am a teacher, a sound engineer, and vocalist. I love to talk about the music theory, and learn others philosophy on it as well.
